Q.   Why does a  fuse or circuit breaker blow or trip?

A.   Possibly an overload or a ground fault.

 Q. How often should the battery be checked or replaced in smoke detectors?

 A. Twice per year, preferably when the clock changes to make up for daylight savings time.

 Q. How does carbon monoxide law affect owners?

 A. As of March, 31st 2006, the law is in effect. It states that one single station should be located within ten feet of a bedroom.  Also, there should be one on each level of a dwelling unit and finally one should be adjacent to heating appliances in habitable basement and attic spaces.

 Q. What should I do if I have an electrical need or emergency?

 A. Wiring is not a hobby. You should hire a licensed Electrician.
